Alltec’s fixed frame design is sure to please most home theater enthusiasts looking for an affordable but elegant solution. We assembled the 110” diagonal in under 30 minutes and installing on the wall with 2 people took an additional 30 minutes. In just about an hour’s time we were ready to kick back with our Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 5030UB and let the projector do the talking.
Like all Alltec fixed frame screens, the ATS-FF110H exhibits a raised aluminum frame with velveteen finish. The sleek design is better than most other brands we’ve seen at the same price point. Unfortunately for some, Alltec only offers their screens in a matte white finish. While that is the best choice for the majority of users, many will want a higher contrast or greyer surface. However, we were impressed with the matte white finish nonetheless. It worked exceptionally well with our Epson projector. It was difficult to see much difference between this screen and a screen which costs three times as much.
Our first experience with Alltec fixed screens was an excellent one. We hope the company continues to expand their product line – meaning a greater variety of sizes and fabrics. Ultimately, they are the best projector screens we’ve tried for the price!
