I have the projector installed upside down on a ceiling mount, and it was pretty easy to flip the image to the correct orientation. However, the zoom and focus control labels (which are printed on the side of the projector) are only oriented for right-side-up operation. It would be nice if the control labels were also printed for upside down operation. My screen is slightly curved, and the digital controls allowed me to get the image aligned well with the center, but there is nothing to allow for a curved screen. That means the image edges does not align well with the screen edges.

The built-in app environment lacks some of the standard streaming apps that I would expect on any device. Luckily, I have the projector attached to a PC, but my wife prefers using the built-in apps for convenience.

With a reasonable amount of effort, the picture looks amazing, and I'm using a cheap outdoor screen. When the room is dark, the colors and contrast look good. The bright room mode also makes it watchable when we have the room lit up. This projector gives us the theater experience at home. It's nice not having to ask strangers to turn off their cell phones or tablets during a movie.

The projector is quiet in our space (about 6 ft above our heads, with the closest acoustically reflective surface being 6+ feet away from the projector). When we are watching anything, we never hear fan noise from the projector.

If you are putting together a home theater and will have the projector attached to external media sources, with a flat screen, this projector is a great one.
